Design Policy
Please don't copy the IntroDB website design.
We put a lot of effort into making this UI look good. We kindly ask that you don't rip off or clone:
- Website layout and design elements
- Component designs and animations
- Logos, icons, and branding assets
- Page structures and styling
Be original. Build your own thing. 💜
API Usage Terms
✓ Permitted Uses
- • Integrating intro skip functionality into media players
- • Building tools that enhance the viewing experience
- • Personal and non-commercial projects
- • Commercial applications with reasonable API usage
✗ Prohibited Uses
- • Scraping or bulk downloading the entire database
- • Creating competing services using our data without permission
- • Reselling or redistributing API data commercially
- • Exceeding reasonable rate limits or abusing the service
- • Submitting false or malicious data
Attribution
If you use IntroDB data in your application, we appreciate (but don't require) attribution:
Intro data provided by IntroDB (introdb.app)Data Contributions
By submitting intro timestamps to IntroDB, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute that data as part of our service. Submitted timestamps become part of the community database and may be aggregated with other submissions.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to revoke API access, block users, or take legal action against violations of these terms. If you're unsure whether your use case is permitted, reach out on our Discord.
